What a whirl wind of a week it has been! Portions of the teaching professions students traveled to Atlanta Georgia for our annual conference. There a little under a 1000 perspective future educators gathered. The unique opportunity arose this year for students to become the representation of the organization- to fulfill this, the association sought applicants who were willing to serve. I was one of those applications who made it through the screening process and after fulfilling the requirements…which included giving a speech in front of 844 people, running an effective campaign booth and getting voted in. I will now spend the next year serving those students who elected me. Be sure to stay tuned for the complete journey!
