We honored this year’s bloggers at a special breakfast event this week. While Shelby, Jason and Olivia will return for their senior years as bloggers next year, we had to say goodbye to our seniors. Most of them were on-hand (except Ashley K. and Mica). They really did some awesome things this year and will always be remembered as the FIRST Ohio Hi-Point Career Center student bloggers and the first to document their journey as part of the Hi-Point Journeys campaign.
The seniors had their final step on the journey of their high school careers last night when Ohio Hi-Point held their Convocation ceremony. Here’s photos of some of our bloggers at the ceremony.

We congratulate our senior bloggers: Daniel, Taylor, Mica, Mikki, Ashley B., Shana, Ashley K., Michael, Samantha, Rebekah. Best wishes on the next part of the journey.

The Hi-Point Journeys bloggers were busy at last week’s Taste of the Future Open House and Career Preview Expo. Nearly 500 people attended the event, including nearly 300 sophomores and their parents! Here, Mikki, Ashley B. and Rebekah, give a radio interview to WPKO’s Bill Tipple, who was doing a live radio broadcast from the event that night.
On Thursday, November 19th, high school sophomores and juniors (to explore our two senior-only programs) can visit OHP during the annual Taste of the Future Open House and Career Preview Expo between 4-7:30 p.m. While our bloggers are giving you a first-hand look at life inside the Career Center for students, we invite you to visit labs, explore opportunities, visit with colleges and start planning your academic future and your career pathway during this event. It is the biggest event we hold every year!
The FlipCams arrived Monday and the students are now in possession of one of the coolest pieces of technology! These will allow them to provide video of their journeys throughout the year.
Welcome to the journey of 10
