Busy, Busy, Busy!

Okay, so what is going on here at Hi-Point right now?  Well all of us here just finished our midterms for the first semester. Thank gosh that is over with!  My lab now is still working on our senior project for competition, which is in March.  We are also still going out to the Discovery Center and working at the YMCA Daycare here at Hi-Point.  This is a GREAT way to get experience and we get our hours in for our lab. It’s always a great time. Coming up in lab here soon is our first aid and CPR course.  This is when we spend all day in lab and by the end of our 2 days in lab, we will have our CPR and first aid certification! (:

Well here recently all us bloggers haven’t received any questions on here or on Facebook from any of you guys!  Don’t be afraid to ask ANY QUESTIONS you may have.. or if you want to just comment and let us know what you think we should do to make this more interesting for all you readers!   Hope everyone is enjoying the nice delays and/or cancellations we’ve been getting here lately!

Christmas is just around the corner!

Hey guys!  Hope everyone is having a good school year so far, I know how eager everyone is for Christmas break! Something I want to talk about on this blog is job possibilities for when I graduate.  After graduating, I could go straight out of my program and help at a school, or I could go on to college and get a teaching degree to become a teacher.  Our lab does not really work close with any other lab at Hi-Point, although some labs may go to the same competitions as we do, though, because of our involvement with professional organizations together.

Now besides finishing up our senior paper, our lab is working on our senior project.  For our senior project in the Early Childhood Education lab, we are going to the Skills USA competition.  We have a team going and three of us are going as individuals.  As for academic classes so far, I would have to say psychology is by far my favorite class.  I said this because it is also something I am looking into career-wise.  I hope to hear from you guys soon!
