My last blog
Hey Everyone!!
The year is coming to an end it’s all starting to sink in that this is it. All the friends I’ve made won’t be forgotten. All that Ohio Hi-Point has taught me I will never lose. All the memories I have will never be lost or forgotten. Everything seems surreal, and I can’t believe I’m almost a freshman in college! It seems scary!
And I know everyone says this, but juniors make your senior year a great experience and make the absolute most of it because it goes by so fast and leaving this place is going to be a very sad day for me and even you may not feel it now, but it will be sad for you, too. I loved everything about Ohio Hi-Point it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I feel like I’ve come very far this year, and I am very proud of my accomplishments. I’m looking forward to going to Kaplan College (OIP&T) in Dayton for Portrait Photography!
Thanks!:)

How is life in general?
Hey Guys!
Things are going so well for me wrapping up my Senior year. Things are starting to kick in I’m beginning to understand that this is all going to be over soon no more Ohio Hi-Point, its all getting sad. We have received our cap and gown and I am realizing it’s all real. The best thing about being here and working in the Printing and Graphics lab is I got to create my own graduation invitations! I’ll be super excited to hand them out because I can say “Hey, I made those.” Everything is very stressful and trying to get all the scholarships done and meeting all the deadlines is so hard, but everything is working out so well. Thanks Again for reading my blog!

An update from Brooke
Hey everyone! I haven’t blogged for a long time because it has been a crazy past couple of months. But, now that I am caught up I wanted to update all of you on what has been going on in the life of Brooke
First of all I think I need to inform everyone that I am no longer a blonde. Yes, it’s true I am now a chocolate!! I will work on getting updated pics on here so that all of you can still recognize me! Sorry if there was any confusion
Well, my senior paper is finished finally and we have moved on to beginning the project portion of it. My topic is Portrait Photography so for my project I am making my very own portfolio of photos that will be taken in our photography studio here at Hi- Point. I am very excited to get started with that!
Also, this week is exams so everyone has been very busy cramming in their last minute study sessions! Study study study! Hopefully with all this crazy weather going on we won’t have any exams to make up next week. But, on the bright side we have a 4 day weekend coming up that we can all look forward to
With everything else going on lately, it’s hard to have any time to spare. But over Christmas break I got the chance to keep up with my Hi- Point Humanities class. I’m sure most of you have heard about it by now, the talk is wild about it
But, since this is the first year this class has been available here I will tell you a little mroe about it. It’s an online course that covers the culture, history, literature, and language of a region of the world. In the Spring, all of us students that are taking the course will be going on an international trip to Italy and Germany. Sounds like a lot of extra work I know, but in the end it’s going to be MORE than just worth it. This is a once in a lifetime experience, and along with the educational portion of it, I will also be able to shop in Italy and see cute Italian boys!!
That’s all I have for today. Don’t forget to check out the Journey’s facebook site to ask us bloggers any questions you may have.

Information on Printing & Graphics
After getting certified in Printing and Graphics you can leave Ohio Hi-Point and get a job in the industry. Either working at a store that does a lot of printing for example since we learned screen printing. So working anywhere that screen prints or designs logos or pretty much anything. The Printing and Graphics program teaches a lot of things that can help in the work force. Of course, you can also go to college with what you learn in this lab as well.
My favorite classes here at Ohio Hi-Point is English and I am taking the Humanities course to be able to go to Europe. The Humanities course teaches you a lot of stuff you need to know about Italy such as the history and even the language. It is such an amazing opportunity. I also love English, I love reading and writing and I just love all the stuff we do in class. Ohio Hi-Point has so many amazing opportunities and I love all that we do here.
